Yim Tin Tsai Artwork – “Through the Years to Touch You” Video Introduction

Artwork “Through the Years to Touch You” speaks of leavings and returnings, of yearnings for home from afar, and peoples who are abroad. The work is situated at the Old Pier of Yim Tin Tsai, where the villagers began their journeys to far away places, and it is also the first point of contact when they came back. These journeys have shaped the history and heritage of Yim Tin Tsai and have exerted a formative force on the local culture. The artist「X-ARt」tells the stories of leavings and returnings of Yim Tin Tsai through the bamboo moongate and augmented reality.

Registration Information

The online registration will be open from 2 Nov (Wed) 10am on a fortnightly basis, for the coming 2-4 weeks upon the system’s update. The registration schedule is as follows:

*Public may register for the programmes and guided tours that are still available for booking from the previous period. Quotas are limited and registration is open on a first-come-first-served basis. For programmes/guided tours that are already full, a waiting list with 20 quotas is available for signing up. If any successful registrants withdraw from the event, notification will be sent to registrants on the waiting list in their order of registration. They will need to confirm the registration within 24 hours upon receipt of the notification to get the place.
