Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival Announces Exciting Tours and Programmes

As the second edition of Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival approaches, curator One Bite Design Studio is delighted to announce this year’s tours and programmes, designed to immerse visitors in the captivating stories of the islands. From November 15, 2023 to January 14, 2024, embark on 360 regular free guided tours in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, led by docents from Kaifong Tour, a social enterprise which focuses on community building through guided tours; dive into 69 specially designed themed tours and 98 programmes, catering various interests of participants including art and craft making, culture, music, sports, conservation, and family activities. As Christmas approaches, groove to the tunes of busking and diverse performances that will infuse the Festival with festivity. Rooted in well-researched island stories, the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival promises to unite people through activities celebrating the islands’ diversity and rich cultural offerings.

Registration Information

The online registration will be open from 2 Nov (Wed) 10am on a fortnightly basis, for the coming 2-4 weeks upon the system’s update. The registration schedule is as follows:

*Public may register for the programmes and guided tours that are still available for booking from the previous period. Quotas are limited and registration is open on a first-come-first-served basis. For programmes/guided tours that are already full, a waiting list with 20 quotas is available for signing up. If any successful registrants withdraw from the event, notification will be sent to registrants on the waiting list in their order of registration. They will need to confirm the registration within 24 hours upon receipt of the notification to get the place.
