Yim Tin Tsai (Outdoor Performance Area near Artwork “Water Dragon”)
Emmanuel Music will hold a concert at Yim Tin Tsai to spread the joy of Christmas with the Sai Kung Hoi as the backdrop. In line with the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival’s vision to promote the history and culture of Hong Kong isles, the group hopes to perform with Christmas songs, choral songs and pop songs that embellish the calm seascape and historical monuments, and to enchant the visitors with songs and beauty, and the charm of faith and youth with the beautiful scenery of Yim Tin Tsai.
Emmanuel is a music group formed by a group of Catholic secondary and university students. Emmanuel was established amidst the 3rd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, when activities were curtailed. Emmanuel started with a focus on online gatherings and virtual music. As the pandemic subsides, Emmanuel has recorded and performed in numerous concerts in the past two years. Emmanuel wishes to spread positive vibes via all types of music, including but not limited to folk, pop and choral pieces.
Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival 2023 to be held by end of this year is now inviting Hong Kong based creative talents including designers, architects and artists, etc. to create public artworks for Kau Sai Chau and High Island.
