In this programme, participants will explore and discover the beauty of Sai Kung Hoi and Sharp Island in a photo-walk workshop format. They will engage in photo activities on the ferry, appreciate the art installations prepared by the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival, and share mountain and beach photography tips. Through the experience, participants can bring with their camera or cellphones to train their observation skills and apply through photography in Sharp Island in a carefree fun manner.

Sessions’ introduction:

2/12 (Fri) 11:00-13:30 (2.5hrs)
Level of difficulty: ⭐
The session will involve crossing tombolo, please prepare waterproof footwear accordingly.

11/12 (Sun) 14:00-16:30 (2.5hrs)
Level of difficulty: ⭐ ⭐
The session will include hiking, please prepare hiking footwear and water accordingly.

23/12 (Fri) 14:00-17:00 (3hrs)

This session will mainly include hiking, please prepare hiking footwear and water accordingly.

Collaborator’s Introduction:

Jeremy Cheung is a Hong Kong-based freelance urban, event, travel and architectural photographer. He has been invited by different brands as a photography instructor and guest speaker. He has won the first prize of 2021 National Geographic Hong Kong Photo Contest (City Category) with the photo “Man in the Mirrors”. He has also organised 5 solo photo exhibitions since 2018.

Registration Information

The online registration will be open from 2 Nov (Wed) 10am on a fortnightly basis, for the coming 2-4 weeks upon the system’s update. The registration schedule is as follows:

*Public may register for the programmes and guided tours that are still available for booking from the previous period. Quotas are limited and registration is open on a first-come-first-served basis. For programmes/guided tours that are already full, a waiting list with 20 quotas is available for signing up. If any successful registrants withdraw from the event, notification will be sent to registrants on the waiting list in their order of registration. They will need to confirm the registration within 24 hours upon receipt of the notification to get the place.
