“Leave no trace” is not just a gimmick. We have to protect and respect our oceans, which cover 71% of the planet. If we keep polluting the ocean with plastic, who else could save it?
When you come to the Sai Kung Hoi islands, beside appreciating the nature and artworks, you can also contribute to ocean conservation by participating in the beach clean-up events to “play and pay”.
In this workshop, participants will be led by professional team to do beach cleaning in High Island. The team will share marine conservation and other environmental protection knowledge during the process. It is hoped that after the beach cleaning experience, participants would be more conscious about marine conservation and can contribute to saving our beautiful earth in the long run.
We encourage families to participate in this workshop and be a member of this beach cleaning family.
Collaborator’s Introduction:
SUPLAB started with the goal of offering a group of water-lovers a glimpse into the marine conservation and provides experimental education to the public. What started out as monthly events have evolved into a dynamic team packed with information about various topics that are impacting our lives. Take some time to join SUPLAB and explore what makes you curious and eager. Take action and be the blue ocean lover!
