Inviting villagers and participants to sit together with the artists on the installation, to talk about stories on Yim Tin Tsai which inspired the installation’s concept and production, such as the history of the island, the geography and landscape, return of villagers, the development of salt-making and the refurbishment of the school and church etc. As the shape of our “Glazed Island” is mimicking the shape of Yim Tin Tsai, it can be used as a map during the story-telling.
