“Leaves carry regional memories, traces of time, and imprints of life.”
It reveals the essence of nature that we can’t see in our eyes. We select the suitable plant materials, placing them on fabric and wrapping them up.
The pigments and tannins contained in the plants are combined with the fabrics to form unique patterns and colours. It can capture the shape, veins, status and details of plants on fabrics.

The workshop is not suitable for people who are allergic to flowers or pollen.
Collaborator’s Introduction:
Josh Chang and Siu Ching are natural dye artists from Taiwan and Hong Kong, and also the founders of Giants Tie Dye since 2014. Now based in Yilan, Taiwan. They travel to different places with their unique natural dye fabrics, art installations, exhibitions and natural dye workshops. They previously exhibited their works in different venues in Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.
