We are delighted to have invited a well-known Hong Kong-based female rapper Luna Is A Bep, Hong Kong professional break dance team BRS and Sacred Heart Canossian College Dance Team to bring us exciting singing and dancing performances in this year’s DanceSing Sunday. We hope to bring special kind of singing and dancing performances to the beautiful nature environment and bring more diversified art experiences for our visitors. Besides appreciating the artworks, visitors may also enjoy the sunbathing beside the beach with performing arts. We invite you to join us for a joyful afternoon at Sharp Island to move your body along with the rhythm of waves and music.


Performers’ Introduction:

Luna Is A Bep

Luna Is A Bep is a Hong Kong-based female rapper. Luna started writing rap lyrics and releasing them on online platforms in early 2018. Due to her diverse music genre, Luna was active on various music platforms, such as ViuTV’s music program “Chill Club” and the 903 Music Awards in 2022, where she won the Best Electronic Music Single Award for her song “每當幻變時” at the Tone Music Awards 2022. Over the past five years, she has performed at many music concerts and has also been active in international music festivals such as Clockenflap and HKT West Kowloon Music Festival. Luna also actively collaborates with different organisations and creators. For example, in 2019, she collaborated with the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to sing a song called “我的過去一言難盡但可以唱出來有人想知我就用歌聲答你thx” and participated in the songwriting process. She has also worked with mainstream and independent musicians. In 2022, she had the opportunity to collaborate with mansonvibes to sing the theme song of the movie “緣路山旮旯,” and the same year, she was invited by the City University of Hong Kong to serve as guest of ‘human library’ and share her experience in independent music with university students.

BRS

BRS is a Hong Kong professional break dance team with more than 14 years of performance experience. Many members belong to the Hong Kong breakdancing team. In addition to participating in dance performances and competitions, they have been actively cultivating a new generation of BBOY and BGIRL in recent years.

There are three BRS members participating in this performance, they are:

Sacred Heart Canossian College Dance Team

Sacred Heart Canossian College Dance Teams was established in 1968. Aiming at promoting Chinese Traditional dance to students and foster students’ interest towards Chinese Arts culture through dancing.
In the past years, the team has participated in the Schools Dance Festival, as well as performing in National Day Reception, the Hong Kong Games, East Asian Games and World Dance Day, promoting dance culture to the society.
