High Island Artwork – “Prismatic Rainbow Mascot” Video Introduction

“Prismatic Rainbow Mascot” manifests as an artistic work in front of the Tin Hau Temple in High Island. It is the embodiment of the two mighty generals, Thousand-Mile Eyes and Favourable Winds Ears. The artists Ban Zhang and ZLAB use a unique form of kinetic visual art – as viewers move, the perspectives reflected in the work’s mirrored surfaces will shift, allowing them to perceive deeper layers of consciousness and consciousness within the realms of illusion. Through this artistic experience, the audience may commune with and come to understand the divine will of the Goddess of the Sea.

Registration Information

The online registration will be open from 2 Nov (Wed) 10am on a fortnightly basis, for the coming 2-4 weeks upon the system’s update. The registration schedule is as follows:

*Public may register for the programmes and guided tours that are still available for booking from the previous period. Quotas are limited and registration is open on a first-come-first-served basis. For programmes/guided tours that are already full, a waiting list with 20 quotas is available for signing up. If any successful registrants withdraw from the event, notification will be sent to registrants on the waiting list in their order of registration. They will need to confirm the registration within 24 hours upon receipt of the notification to get the place.
