Wishing upon a star makes dreams come true. Winter skies boast the highest number of bright stars, each one dazzling. Amidst the mutual radiance of bright stars, star clusters, and nebulae, the winter night sky appears particularly lively. Choose a dusk to have a brisk walk with your children at High Island Geo Trail and see the sunset together. An astronomy tour guide will also lead you to the Astropark and explore the secret of the galaxy.

Route: Gather at High Island, hike to West Dam Astropark for picnic, followed by introduction of astronomical phenomenon and knowledge by astronomy instructor. Tour guide will also introduce ecology, geology and culture along the journey. The tour will end and participants will dismiss at Astropark.

Remarks:
– Participants will need to arrange their own transportation to the assemble point at High Island and from the dismissal point at Astropark after the event
– Participants are required to bring along picnic mats, food and water, mosquito spray, torch and wear winter clothing
– Participants are required to download the stargazing software Stellarium on their mobile phones in advance
