Through the art installation “Meet n’ Meal” , the artist group has introduced the food culture of the villagers in Yim Tin Tsai to the visitors. Besides, the artists also want to bring their attention to the vision of the new generation of Yim Tin Tsai villagers about the future development of this place, including raising awareness of the importance of solid waste reduction.

In this workshop, participants can reflect on the impact brought by solid waste pollution on food source. Some waste objects will be prepared for the participants. They can assemble them into the images of food, while the processes and the final outcomes will be recorded through stop-motion animation. These simple stop-motion animation works will be uploaded to an online platform for sharing. These food images created by the visitors will serve as artwork that highlights the importance of conservation and solid waste reduction.
