The women villagers in High Island are all good at cooking. During the Tin Hau Festival or other big gathering in High Island, we could see women villagers working diligently in the kitchen to prepare food for hundreds and thousands villagers and the public.
In this workshop, we have invited the women villagers from High Island to share with the participants how to cook traditional food full of the island’s characteristics, and experience the simple and authentic taste. By communicating with the women villagers, participants may learn more about the village’s stories, appreciate villagers’ hospitality, and celebrate the happiness of enjoying good food.
